Cervical Smear Checks

New Patient Check/NHS Health Check
All new patients are offered a health check on registration, but the offer is open to all our patients. The checks are usually conducted by our Healthcare Assistant, who offer advice on diet, weight, exercise, smoking, alcohol and stress control. They also check blood pressure and urine. Please ask the receptionist for details.
Family Planning Advice
This is provided by the doctors or practice nurses, and covers advice and provision of the range of contraceptive options available.
Child Health Checks And Child Immunisations
These are provided at regular intervals by the doctors, health visitor and practice nurse. The screening checks monitor growth, development and well-being of children. It is important for children to be immunised against childhood illnesses. If you have any doubts about this protection, please discuss these with your doctor.
